i've read alot of posts here regarding jw's and freemasonry, and so far i've seen the usual conjecture by non-masons, and a few well written opinions of the inquiring minds among us.. i'm a former jw from texas, and a current freemason in houston.
my question is:.
what specifically does the wts say as far as masonic membership.
I found this very informative about freemasons and where they stand with christians.

This is book about freemansory and JW's, I dont think the writer was ever a JW`(the book reslight is referring to).

I dont think Russel was ever a Freemason, but he maybe believe in bits and pieces of it.
some here still believe in demons, therefore you still have some beliefs associated with demons, demon possesion, demons getting into furniture, black cats, bad luck, etc etc etc.
what things do you still believe regarding demons and why do you still believe it?>.
happy halloween, if you dont happy halloween too..
SBC- I can't answer your question, I was too young to take drugs, I was not having halucinations as I have witnesses, consciousness yes but I had no control over myself.
So no I can not answer your question and for argument sake this might interest you http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anneliese_Michel ,

In 1978 a young German woman named Anneliese Michel died. The German courts found her parents and the priests who attended her guilty of negligent homicide. The courts concluded that Anneliese died because she had been subjected to extensive and severe Exorcism rites, rather than continuing the medications she had been given for epileptic seizures. The paradigm that guided the court's decision was a medical/ psychological one that views reality as a uniform phenomenon, and digressions from that reality as manifestations of pathology.

SBC wrote - If you said you had an experience, for example, in which you lost control of your senses, fell to the ground, and started shaking violently.... I wouldn't question whether you had such an experience. It's only when a person automatically attributes something like that to demons before investigating all other plausible explanations that I question them.
I levitated, does that count? I spoke to the dentity in a form of a nightmarish instrumentation, does that count?
hi, i'm a bit of a lurker on this site occasionally, just to help me understand my jw relative.
i am so curious to ask this question, but i fear asking a practicing jw, because you know, they can be a tad evasive, and maybe defensive too.
lutherans say.
PSacramento: If you dont mind me asking, what type of catholic are you?

SBC wrote: No. Atheism doesn't try to explain that. It's - more or less - a lack of belief in a deity/deities.
My question to you is this: Do any other belief systems explain your anecdote? If something unexplainable happens and you assign a supernatural (for example, demons) explanation to it, what you are in effect saying is....
In reality, if something like that cannot be explained it just remains unexplained. Nothing more.
Hi,
No I'm not being sarcastic
I have to be careful on what I say because I don't want to be known by JW's at my hall viewing this site, I had explained this to some JW's including the person that does my book study but you know how gossip spreads, I had a lot of experience to talk about which I prefer not to get into, once I'm out I will be more than happy if people want me to explain in detail.
Regarding your question, you remind me of a conversation I had with my dad, he asked how could a league of brothers (GB) be all wrong and misleading? I answered his question (which he still does not or doesn't want to know) with a question, what makes a mormon, evangelist or roman catholic think that they are gods mouth piece? How can a muslim extremist get to a stage of seriously killing himself believing honestly that he will be sent to heaven and have virgens?
To answer your question you can look deeper into it which I don't encourage because you put yourself in harms way, I was demon possessed, you either believe what I typed to be true or you don't, if you don't believe you wont believe everything else I saw and experienced.
Another way of reasoning is the old testament (exodus and leviticus) gives a good idea on what not do to, blood is sacred, drinking blood of an animal you killed with your bare hands (or mouth) is just like mocking GOD, this sin can not be forgiven and there isn't an exorcism that can help you but its what some do just to prove a point false, then to end up in a nut house. There are countless articles proving the old testament to be true. Also the NT which is the oldest book to speak about demons in people, forms of exorcism are similar to what Jesus said.

I dont believe, I know, once in the morning my mum was ironing dry clothes and placing them in the cupboard, once she was done I went to pick a shirt but all the clothes were wet, can atheism explain that? Dont think so.
Chupacabra is a made up word, just ask any person from Brazil.
Dont know about leprechauns but zombies are demon posseded dead or brain dead people, dracula is actually based on a real person (Vlade Tepes III) that had very cruel forms or tortare and a socio path like persona.
